Meet The Team

Kate has worked in the care sector for over 25 years and has previous experience of Physiotherapy, Audiology, Homecare and Office Management. She’s an experienced carer herself and manages a busy team of friendly carers. In her spare time, she likes to go clay pigeon shooting, spend time with her family,  and spending time outdoors visiting National Trust Properties.

Nanette has worked in the care sector for 2.5 years and her role at You Are My Sunshine is mainly assisting Kate with the smooth running of the business. 

In her spare time Nanette likes to go camping in her camper van, visit friends and spend time with her family.

Karen has worked at YAMS for 3.5  years and deals with a wide variety of administration tasks in her day to day role. She’s the go to person for Finance and enjoys classic cars and motorbikes and walking the dogs on the local beach in her spare time. 

Tracy is YAMS Field Manager/Mental Health Lead and enjoys nothing more than providing top quality, personal care for our clients. Tracy has been with us for 4.5 years and what she likes most about her role is supporting not only clients but also her Team Leads.

Alice is one of our Team Leaders at YAMs and is in charge of running Poppy Team. She oversees 7 of the YAM Team and keeps busy by ensuring everyone is happy and feeling supported.

Alice enjoys spending time with her cat in her spare time.

Hollie’s main duties as a Team Leader include the running of Team Rose. She is also staff well-being lead so checks in with all staff on a regular basis. Hollie has worked for YAMS for over 2 years and in her spare time she likes to spend time with her children and wider family

Jo is another one of our Team Leaders and heads up Team Daisy. She’s been a carer for quite a few years and was previously a Nurse in the Armed Forces. She is passionate about delivering quality care for our customers. 

Sally is Team Leader of Iris. She has been working with us for just over a year and her passion stems from mental health and care in the community. In her spare time Sally enjoys socialising and spending time with her Grandchildren.

Joanne has been with YAMS since January 2023. Jo enjoys travelling and loves to visit her daughter all around the world performing in shows.

Nicole is the only evening Team Leader we have at YAMS and has been with us for nearly a year. She enjoys family time  in her spare time and loves to dance.
